Hi Guys! I'm back with another post, this one is going to be fitness related like I promised on my second post, I'm going to be giving you guys tips on how to stay healthy from the knowledge I've acquiered over the years.
Before I start this post, I just want to let you all know that you are beautiful the way you are, and this is just a fix for those who want to see themselves better in a bikini and get ready for summer.
1. Don't diet, just eat healthy
99% of the diets fail, because diets are temporary, if you really want to get a bikini body and KEEP that bikini body eat healthy, increase your fruit intake, drink more water, control your proportions...
Eat well and watch what you're eating, I'm not telling you to become an obsessed freak with your food, eating healthy isn't as hard as people think, but it also isn't easy, if it were easy everyone would be doing it, but it's much easier that what people think, people tend to think that to lose weight you have to restrict yourself and not have any treats, but the truth is treats are great... in MODERATION.
2. Cardio
Cardio is awesome for weight loss, if you want that bikini body, the first thing you have to do is cardio, with cardio you burn the excess fat you have in your body, if you don't do cardio all the weight training in the world wont help you, well yes you can do weight training if at any point in your life you're ging to burn off the fat, but what weight training without cardio does is it tones your muscles that are UNDER the fat, so before you to start toning your body burn that layer off fat.
3. Make water your best friend
Lets be honest here, how many of us drink the amount of water our body need to function properly DAILY? I'm guilty of not doing this guys and I know its bad, it's something I've been trying to work on for the past couple of weeks, water is amazing for you, it cleanses your system, it aids in weightloss, it doesn't have any calories, it gives you awesome hair, skin and nails... the list goes on and on, try drinking water right when you wake up and just before eating, also drink water about 20 minutes after your meal and before bed, these are supposedly good times to drink water, also try and drink at least 2L of water daily!
4. Swap your foods with their healthier versions
Lets say you love bread, try eating whole grain bread, say you love rice try eating brown rice, say you love white sugar, try eating brown sugar... The 'healthier versions' have more fiber and are waaayyy better for you, they usually have the same amount of calories, but I try not to calorie count because I restrict myself too much when I do.
5. Know that it will take time
Unless you want a quick fix and you want to gain all the wight back in a couple of weeks, this will take time, if it's easy it's not really worth it, but when you know that you actually struggled in your journey going back to eating uunhealthy and going back to your unhealthy ways will be much harder than before, simply because you know how much you struggled to get there.
