A couple of months ago, I wrote a blog post on Fashion Life Hacks To Make Your Life Easier after two or three months I think it's about time I did one for Beauty!

These are some tips and tricks I implement in my daily life that just make my life much easier!

Make your Makeup Last Longer
I barely wear makeup, I do it once a month or so but when I do I wear minimal makeup, when I wear that minimal makeup I want it to last all day and since I'm no expert and I'm sort of cheap too and I don't want to purchase a primer, I stick my face in the freezer for a while, thirty seconds or so.
I know me explaining it like this may sound all sorts of crazy and stupid and I'm not really sure if there's a scientific explanation behind all this but my makeup lasts all day!
Or you could just, you know, buy a primer suitable to your skin type...


Make Your Perfume Last Longer
All you need for this life hack is a refrigerator and your perfume.
Put your perfume in the refrigerator the night before you want to use it and spray it when you need it.
I don't know the scientific explanation behind this but all I know is that it works.
Also make sure no one drinks it! Haha!


Look More Awake
When you're applying your eye makeup, put your highlighter in your inner tear-duct area and Ta-dah! You look less walking-dead-ish.


Double The Thickness and Length Of Your Ponytail
All you have to do is create two ponytails, one on the bottom of your head and one on the top of your head.
Create the ponytail on the bottom first because this way when you create your second ponytail on the top of your head you're able to cover the tracks where the first ponytail starts.


Super Soft Lips
I've been doing this one since I was seven, I just used to brush my lips after brushing my teeth because I found it relaxing, I didn't know it made your lips softer by removing the dead skin cells of your lips.


Use Apple Cider Vinegar As  A Toner
Apple Cider Vinegar makes a great toner, it does just what a regular toner does but it's much more affordable.
Bonus Tip : You can also use it on your hair before your final rinse for added shine, less frizz...


T-Shirt Dry Your Hair
Sometimes towels can be really harsh on your hair and can actually damage it, using a t-shirt to soak up excess water is great for your hair and it reduces frizz significantly.

A few months ago I wrote a blog post talking about some of my tips to get clearer skin and since my skin has been  glowing lately, I wanted to share with you guys my skincare routine and the products I've been using, they're really affordable and it's a pretty simple routine, most of the caring for my skin come from the things I consume and just mainly the things I do to help my skin from the inside out.

Step One - Cleansing
I use the Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Daily Gel Wash, and it's basically just a regular face wash, it does it's job and thoroughly cleanses my skin.
I wet my face with warm water to open up my pores and I apply a small amount of the gel onto my fingers and rub them on my face and massage it on my skin for about 2 minutes then I rinse with cold water to close my pores.

Step Two - Toning
I use the Be+ Locion Tonificante Bifasica Piel Grasa toner, and I love this toner, it was made especially for oily skin like mine and it just leaves my face with a minty/fresh feeling and it leaves it really smooth! I use a cotton pad to rub this all over my face and let it dry before moisturizing.

Step Three - Moisturising
I've used many moisturisers before and I'm not even sure I'm still going to be using this one in two months time, I'm using the Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturiser and it's supposed to moisturise your skin and help you control your breakouts, I wouldn't say it's as good as the other two products but it does moisturise my skin and it doesn't leave it oily. I massage my moisturiser into my skin in a circular motion.

A month or two ago, I made a post talking about why I don't wear makeup, but maybe I didn't exactly make myself clear, of course I wear makeup! Just not on a daily basis, and since I use minimal makeup products, I try and find the best ones out there or I splurge on my mum's makeup collection, since I'm still living with her.

1. Mac Cosmetics Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation
I don't wear foundation, so it's nice to see I have a replacement for foundation and still get that awesome flawless face look, I don't have severe acne, I just have some leftover acne scars from my old pimples, but if you do have cystic acne or any other severe type of acne I wouldn't recommend this for you, simply because it's really light and it won't do much!

2. Mary Kay Lash Love Water-Proof Mascara
This mascara is the best one I've tried and trust me I've tried lots of mascaras, it doesn't smudge or look weird throughout the day, maybe because it's waterproof, but either way I love it, it's also amazing for summer because it's really water-proof, sometimes too water-proof... My only disclaimer is the fact that because it's waterproof it's hard to take off.

3. Mary Kay Nourishine Plus Lipgloss
I wear this on a fancier day, like if I'm going to church or something, it's not a daily product for me, but when I wear it I feel luscious! I feel like I can conquer the world, I do have full lips and this gives them a fuller appearance but I like it! Mary Kay have a huge range of colors for this product and I'm loving : Wine And Dine

My mum buys lots of her makeup from Mary Kay and I really like their products, they're a bit pricey but they last long and look amazing!

I don't know about you guys, but winter is really tough on my skin, it just leaves some patches dry (even thugh I've got oily skin) and it leaves it dull and tight.

As you guys know Spring is approaching really quickly and that means crop tops, high waisted shorts,floral kimonos, pretty much just showing more skin.
